Okay, I’ve been really thinking alot for Children In Need and think its about time I really did do something for it. Last year I did nothing at all, so this year I want to raise as much as I can. So heres what I have in mind. Out of all my special readers there will be one lucky person. Why? I am going to give one lucky person the chance to win themselves a completely unique custom made design at their service. So how will this work? Basically all you have to do is donate as much as youcan to BBC’s donating page, the highest amount paid, that person will win my design services. This is a good way for yourself to get lucky and do your bit in helping out for the Children In Need campaign.
If you want to read more about Children In Need click the banner above!
Donating
If you will please take a screenshot of your donation and then just upload it and send a comment on this post with the link, then I can see who has bidded the most. If you want to show me privately then send me an email.
I will also be taking part in BBC’s ‘Upload a video’ section, basically they want to know a little about what your doing to fundraise, so I will hopefully get that on my blog in a few days to show you all, I am also hoping to get it on Adobe Premier Pro so I can edit it and add some images into the video aswell just to make it a bit more exciting rather than having my big ugly mush talking all the time.
Regards guys,
James ;-)!
Regards.

On thursday just there I was at training and heard my phone going, I picked it up and it was my mum and she had some rather good news. She booked up for Lanzarote so i’m yet again away on holiday for another week this time with my mum, dad and sister. My dad is never absent from work so he took the October week off to get away somewere in the sun. I guess this might be my last post before I go so I will go on about a few things.
Blogussion.com
Eventually I have came to yet another project in the making, Blogussion.com. This time I will be teaming with Oliver from TalkFreelance to create a forum which will basically allow members to come and discuss all the topics etc related to blogging such as methods of optimizing your blog, plugin updates on different blog software etc. I will be bringing you more on this shortly, I already have two concepts designed so its just a matter of time before we select a final choice and get it coded.
Creativestl.com - How is it going?
Doing not bad actually, not much work this month although it is starting to pick up again. Most of the traffic is coming from word of mouth and just previous clients. I haven’t updated it much, but I am planning to implement some big changes to the site which will make a big difference. Why the hold up? As most of you probably know already, I haven’t been able to use my Paypal account for well over two weeks now due to the chargeback incidents that Mike has caused not only me but other people big hassle. But it will be fixed shortly!
Thanks for reading EatFruitPlease, I will be back with some photos from Lanzarote sometime next week. Adios!

What a great day! Today I finally started the course i’ve been waiting to do for nearly five months now! After reading the 2007 GCU perspectus, I knew this was the course for me and couldn’t wait to get started. I think personally I have worked hard to get to were I am just now and I am really proud of myself
Anyways, luckily I’d been at the university for five weeks, walking around and getting a taste of it before anyone else due to me being at summerschool, so I knew my way about. I got the timetable through the post and wasn’t to sure were my classroom was so this morning I went to the office and before I got to ask my mate Jimmy who I found out that was doing the same course as me tapped my shoulder. He knew were it was so we went down to the lower ground to the room and there was no-one outside our room only to find that everyone had already taken their seats, oops! But we weren’t the last, alot of folk were turning up late due to it being the first day.
So we got settled and we got a chat for about an hour talking about the course and the university which was quite interesting. We then got a sheet that had all our specific materials that we needed to buy, unfortunately my letters haven’t been confirmed by SAAS yet (Student Bursary, Loans etc) so I don’t have any money in the bank at the moment to get them. A positive from it though is that my course is one of the cheapest in the sense of material buying. Diane Joyce the programme leader/tutor told us that courses like Pharmacy & Nursing are the more expensive as they need to buy alot of books whereas we only have to buy pens, rulers, paints etc which works out cheaper! PLUS YOU GET A STUDENT DISCOUNT ;)!
After lunch we were given our first activity to do. The activity was basically to get to know each other a bit better, but the main task was to go out around the city of Glasgow and get some pictures taken. In my group I had a guy named Kieron and another dude called Alan, both really nice guys.
You can visit the Flickr page in which I uploaded the photos to here, you can also look at some of the other groups photos. So what was the point in the task? Well Diane is goin to look at all of the photos taken by the groups and she is going to pick the best 100 and get them printed 10×10 and put on the wall. She is also going to get little MOO cards made which will also be quite fun!
So overall, first day of my official class has been amazing. Met some new people, the girls in my class are also tremendous may I add and the tutors seem really nice. It can only get better. So thats all for now, thanks for reading EatFruitPlease, until next time…
