If your reading this you’ve probably already noticed the new widget added to the site. This is a relatively new way at getting traffic and additional rss readers. I really got the first insight to Entrecard by looking at a post which Oliver made on Blogussion.com. Basically what Entrecard allows you to is firstly put the widget on your website, after this, people can click the ‘drop yours’ link which then sends an invitation to your Entrecard dashboard. The invitation is basically the person who clicked the ‘drop yours’ link asking for their 125×125 image to be advertised on your blog/website.

Everyone who clicks your ‘drop yours’ link on your site allows for you to get credits which can be used to buy other advertisement spots on other websites. The credits are quite crucial because if you have a low credit balance for example lets say you only had 4 credits, this would probably only get you a low amount of traffic, but if you have say 200 credits then this would probably get you more traffic and more readers to your site.

After only a couple of hours using Entrecard, I think i’ll be watching over this really carefully and using it regularly, it looks like a great way of getting traffic and readers.

Today, I’ve been working on getting a really nice professional look for KolaKube and I finally got what I was looking for. A really simple look. I’ve been reading WebMediaBlogger recently and really liked the idea of this article. Basically, I won’t be showing a link to my services, as WMB says it sounds crazy although it encourages the visitor to email and get in touch which is better than someone just simply browsing your work and possibly forgetting to contact you or even just hit the little red ‘x’.

I’d like to know what you think of the landing page.

Yes, it is here. Finally!

After months of waiting, myself and Oliver thought to hell with it and just decided to get some opening posts on the go and get it online. We are really looking forward to the journey ahead and hope we can get some really nice members coming and some really nice traffic :).

I can’t stress how much Oliver is a great guy to work with. His confidence is always high and is always eager to look for new challenges that arise and thats what both of our prospects are with this project.
