I found this while browsing through my YouTube account, this was when I was at a residential trip last year with my school and me and my mate thought it’d be fun to wrestle. Best laugh ever!

Today i’ve been brainstorming yet another project for mostly personal use although to a different kind of niche and market. I’ve been thinking over the past month to create a forum were young people like myself who go abroad to Magaluf for a complete party time can come and join and talk with each other. I know it’ll be quite a challenge, but I know literally hundreds of people would sign up.

My idea for this came across because this year I went and I met so many people from all over the country which made it the best holiday ever. I also went with all of my mates with no parents around which made it even better :)!

Ideas

Okay, so if you don’t know where Magaluf is its in Spain. Its a small town which comes to life at night and when I mean comes to life, it creates a party I tell ye! Theres the main attraction which is the BCM Nightclub, which you mostly hear people talking about. BCM is one of the biggest nightclubs in the world which one large room & dancefloor. At the beginning of your holiday, the rep’s of whichever hotel you are staying at offer you a deal which gets you free alcohol when your in the club which is good for the right party animals.

So ideas for the site would be to create a forum and market it locally (friends and family etc) and obviously get them to pass the word about the website. In Glasgow, most young people around my age all speak about ‘Maga’ (for short) and I think it’d be a great little website for people to go and chat.

If I market it properly and get good Google ranking I may attract members from down south aswell which would be awesome.

I’ve not came up with any design or anything just yet, just planning out first. If you have done something like this before, like a kind of local project. Please share with me how you have got on, I’d be glad to hear.

I posted this up on KolaKube although I thought I’d do a more detailed review of it on here. Firstly, I have no batteries to power up my camera to do a vlog, so thats on my to do list for tomorrow. Anyways. DynoThemes, a small project i’m really looking forward to developing for a little while.

What is DynoThemes?

Basically DT (for short) will be a blog (Wordpress of course) with some really nice features. I will be having a neat ‘Featured Blog’ section were I will be displaying a random blog theme (probably my favourite - or for your interaction the readers favourite… who knows) were users can view the live demo of the theme and then can download it.

Oh and yes, your thinking… what? DOWNLOAD?! Yep your right, all themes will be free but there will be a section were you will be able to hire myself and get an exclusive blog theme - custom made… oh and a very nice price :)!

Other possible ways of making money?

I’ve actually not thought of the money making sides to things yet although I guess Adsense would probably be my best bet. Keep in mind i’m still really a beginner with all the marketing sides of doo-wallys so if you have an idea or marketing plan that you think this site would benefit from then please share it with me through the comments section, it’d be greatly appreciated!

Designs & Coding

I’ve thought about how i’m going to be spending money and not going to make it back. For example, if I design five themes and want them all coded and integrated into Wordpress ready for use and lets say coding is $120 per design… that’s $600 which is alot of money.

So thats why I am on the look out for a well-mannered, talented individual and work for free like me at DynoThemes. I am also willing to give the coder a 15% cut on every premium design that I sell.

Opening Date

To be honest, I really don’t know. I will hopefully be getting the coding of the design done tomorrow. So I could realistically have the design up for Monday, but not really my intentions at the moment. I want to get at least 5-10 free themes on first so theres some nice content up on grand-opening!

Okay, I’ve been really thinking alot for Children In Need and think its about time I really did do something for it. Last year I did nothing at all, so this year I want to raise as much as I can. So heres what I have in mind. Out of all my special readers there will be one lucky person. Why? I am going to give one lucky person the chance to win themselves a completely unique custom made design at their service. So how will this work? Basically all you have to do is donate as much as youcan to BBC’s donating page, the highest amount paid, that person will win my design services.
