First I’d like to apologize as I haven’t been able to get it into video blog format, but i’m sure text will be fine. Okay, so my promotion was to send five people a lousy $5 but, they also got advertisement in a single post which surely will attract some more traffic. The order below is who contacted me first.

“Hi and welcome to Harry Online. My name is Harry Noott and I’m a young web designer and entrepreneur from Bristol, UK. I am now taking my GCSEs a year early in graphic design and business, and using these two skills, I plan on setting up my own graphic design company very soon.”

“WPCandy stands for WordPress Candy. WPCandy is a website that’s aimed at providing valuable information on WordPress! WPCandy has a database filled with WordPress articles, themes, plugins, interviews, and a ton of other stuff! WPCandy is powered by WordPress, valid XHTML, and valid CSS. The site was designed and coded on a Mac using Photoshop CS3 and Coda.

“Zach Kollegger dot com is about Web & Graphic Design, Coding, Web 2.0 and Technology with some marketing tips thrown in aswell. Be on the look out for some free Wordpress themes.

“Your guide to successful Web Development.”

“HostedFX was established by Gareth Hodson in 2005. An individual with a passion to deliver quality web hosting services at the lowest possible price. We at HostedFX are dedicated to providing the best support, whilst using the greatest technology and hardware. We truly believe that we have made low cost web hosting a possibility without the need to sacrifice quality.

There you go, four blogs & one hosting website. I will be running so much more promotions shortly were you can get money again although larger amounts, this was a little marketing try-out. Thanks alot guys for your time and hope to see more traffic aimed at EatFruitPlease.com

That’s all for now, thanks.

Bringing Barry Back!

I thought i’d bring some fun into the world of video blogging by bringing the legendary Barry White back (I wish). I thought I’d do a little video on some of the guys that I have met over the internet but using paper, a pen and my camera and not forgetting a classic from Barry White. Fun, fun fun. Have a look below, please leave your comments :) hehe!

Please note that this has nothing to do with the $5 Advertising post below, I was just bored and wanted to do something fun.

Regards and enjoy!

James

Get $5 to advertise YOUR site on EatFruitPlease!

Okay, so heres how it goes. I give you $5 directly to your Paypal account and then you feature on EFP? Now wouldn’t that be great, free advertising plus $5! I was thinking of ways to enhance my traffic and update and add on to my readerbase. Heres what I have in mind.

I will be looking for five people to contact me using the contact link at the top of the page. Within the message field I would like, the site you would like advertised, URL of link and a little description (about 25 words) of what your website is about and last but not least your Paypal email.

In return for this, I am only looking for one small (very small) favour and that is too add this little apple icon at the very beginning of your next blog post with it linking to EatFruitPlease.com.

Where will my advertisement be?

In my next blog post after I get all five people to advertise, I will post everyones link with there description. If your lucky enough, I might just do it in video blog form ;)!

Want to be the first?

Go on contact me today to get a free ad spot and $5.

Minor Changes/Life & Online

Posted on October 24th, 2007 by Admin in the General Updates section

Hello folks, yet another blog post. Just to let you all know some minor changes will be taking place on the blog over the next few weeks so if you get some errors it might be due to this. Just going to go over some brief points of whats happening recently. After a week off due to going to Lanzarote, I have missed quite a bit in university, so this week has all been about catching up and that I have done so. I have to come up with a 15cm x 10 cm image that has the theme ‘fantasy’, so I used my imagination to come up with some really nice ideas and have already started drawing some images up. I am into putting one drawing I came up with on Photoshop already, so I am catching up quite fast. For another class of mine (Video Editing) I have to take in a DVD and I have to cut a two minute sequence from it and edit it in Adobe Premier - one of many programs i’ll be learning at University. I am in that class tomorrow, so I’ll get the lowdown on it and hopefully start it tomorrow.

Apart from that nothing really. Maybe another thing I can talk about is my football. If some of you can remember I recenltly quit my semi-professional football team due to other happenings in my life, but I’ve started back only with my uncles team South Camlachie Youth Project. Team has a great spirit and i’ve been playing every week for them, so I am glad to be back into my footie.

RareTees.com - Some Other News

Posted on October 22nd, 2007 by Admin in the Projects section

Today I bought a really nice domain name RareTees.com from Ryan Amos over at Talkfreelance. Something about it has potential, so I quickely snapped it up for $30 which isn’t too bad considering its easy to remember, nice short domain and can be used for a t-shirt selling website like PrimalTees.com & HeartCrush.com

I have already started a design for it and hope to get it coded soon, I will think of joining with someone to make the project work or either sell the package as a turnkey. I reckon I could make mid $xxx on it, if it is done properly.

Some other news:

  • Blogussion is just about to go into coding stages.
  • A personal-type website coming soon
  • EatFruitPlease - Is staying were it is. I love my blog, that little bit better.

Blogussion.com is just about to go into coding stages.

It’s been a long wait, although Blogussion is ready to go into its coding stages as the design has been finalised. I hope this project works out well as I have complete faith in it. Thanks to Oliver for coming up with some really unique ideas that will make us stand out compared to other forums like this. Financially it will be demanding, but if pulled off right, it will be a big…BIG money maker.

A personal-type website coming soon.

After the sale of Creativestl (still pending), I will be planning a fresh new start for myself. Introducing myself with new ways of earning money and finding myself more interactive on the web like learning new styles, learning some SEO and a few other things. I am going to continue my freelancing ways although do some different kind of work. I am still trying to come up with a new name for the site, but it shouldn’t take me long.

EatFruitPlease - Is staying were it is. I love my blog, that little bit better.

I was contacted randomly earlier on today and was asked if I will be selling EatFruitPlease.com, the answer to that question is… no. I love blogging to much to sell this and I have had ALOT of emails and PM’s regarding the sale of the domain which has taken the interest of many people, but I want to hold on to this website for as much as I can.

I guess thats all for now. Oh one more thing, you might have noticed the sponsored link at the top of the blog post, this is something I will be implementing to my blog posts. Currently it is my good friend Julians website, he has the spot for a month so I will announce once his time is up. If your interested in pre-booking then please contact me on info@eatfruitplease.com

Yes it’s true, I’m selling my one love. For a good year and a bit, I have been through many educational phases with this website and to see were it is now is a great thing for me. I’d like to now move forward into different online web development which is forum developement.

I said I’d never sell this website, but I’d rather sell it while I am on a high and while the website is doing good. Goodbye Creativestl :)
